Blog: Mini Adventure
28th January 2012
Busy week for all the team at DKS
Sport.
Andi is still recovering from The
Tough One, he has managed to get his voice back for the radio show on Thursday (
pity was quite in the office)
Pleased to see such a awesome write
up in the Motorcycle press about the event and combined with the results from
the Sidcup 60 Trial it was a perfect week for all out athletes.
In the equine world our young eventer
is getting to grips with her new horse and is hacking out more and more it wont
be long before the horse is ready for its first competition.
Our young Mini driver is back in
testing and training for the exciting season ahead, as you can see we have
created a Mini to show there is still space available for business advertising,
there is so much more space than on a Bike or a horse to advertise a company or
business.
Not all sports will have the TV coverage but most will have a strong following of spectators around the Uk and add that into the advertising up and down the motorway network, your company logo or name is taken before a wider audience.
Our Freestyle mountain Bike rider Danny Buter is on the mend from his knee operation and is now back in the gym, so it will only be a matter of weeks before he is back entertaining the crowds around the World with the Skills on Two wheels, from side hops to balancing on 2inch bar with no front wheel its a awesome show and display of skill, Its got to be said if it wasn't for an International competition i think we would have seen Danny win BGT, ( just our view)
Becky Cook had her first outing on the new TTT Beta at the weekend, other than a few personal adjustments to the bike all went well with a good result, its not often Becky gets to ride in the mud and rain as normally she would be in warmer climates testing, So we were pleased with her results.
Just got to mention, Jamie one of the Freestlye Bikes Enduro team has arrived back from testing the new 250cc 2stroke machine in the depths of Wales with the Legendary British Champion Wyn Hughes, from all accounts the weather was good and didn't rain ( a first for wales in the winter)
Jamie will be undergoing more bike set-up and testing in the next few weeks ready for the first local meeting on the 5th Feb.

The new Freestyle Bikes logo has now been completed and as you see its fairly trick with the tyre print in the background, so keep your eyes out and look for the team and the riders in 2012
A busy weekend of meetings and events, with Andi and Mik then heading to the Motorcycle Expo on Tuesday next week ( office will be quite again
